A glimpse into the life of Ms. Thaden, who teaches English I, on Thursday, September 19th.
6:00 AM – I wake up and take my dog, Milo, outside. After that, I get ready for the day.
7:00 AM – I drive to school, usually listening to a podcast or my fall playlist. When I arrive at school, I set up for the day, get some grading done and print any worksheets that I need for the week.
8:00 AM – 10:45 AM – I teach English I. We read Animal Farm and reviewed for the test that students have tomorrow by playing Animal Farm bingo.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Lunch time! Today I went to daily mass and then had pizza with some other faculty in the Campus Ministry room.
12:00 PM – 3:00 PM – The second half of my English I classes. We continued to review and students asked lots of questions!
3:00 PM – I leave school a little early to get to the JV soccer game. We are played Brookings and won 2-0!
5:30 PM – I pick up dinner from Crisp n’ Green on my way back to the high school to coach the varsity soccer game.
8:00 PM – Varsity game is over so I help clean up all of our equipment and then take some photos of the boys soccer team for the yearbook and the Scroll!
9:00 PM – I get home, Milo and I go for a quick walk and then it’s time for bed!
