The first annual “Palentine’s Day” event was sponsored by our student council the week of February 10th.The event was created in hopes to spread extra love to our friends around the school for the week of Valentine’s Day. Student Council members sold suckers for $1 in the lower foyer on Monday and Tuesday. They delivered them on Wednesday during 7th period. If you purchased a sucker for a friend, you also had the option to write a note for them. The proceeds of the event went to Feeding South Dakota.
Our Student Council sold a total of 106 suckers, selling out their stockpile! “We had a great turn out and it was so fun to be able to deliver the Palentines for friends and see their reactions!” said Anya Bornitz, our student council president. She added, “It was fun to make someone’s day even through a small act of kindness like this!”
