Every year O’Gorman hosts a dance for the seniors. The Senior Dinner Dance is a night for the seniors to come together, enjoying one last dance as a class.
“It was definitely my favorite dance of high school,” senior Maggie Baloun said. “I really enjoyed having one last night to enjoy with my classmates!”
This semi-formal event is always held at the end of the school year – this year on April 20. The seniors were fed pizza, wings and plenty of desserts before the fun began!
The senior advisors got involved and played many rounds of charades alongside the students. Groups of seniors even had the opportunity to compete against each other in friendly competitions to win a dress down day.
“My favorite part of the event was being able to to dance all night with my friends and classmates!” senior Maria Glatt said.
The night was spent dancing, socializing and listening to music. With the dance being a semi-formal event, it takes the pressure off of the students and allows them to enjoy themselves as much as possible.
The seniors participated in many group dances and conga lines. The students made the most of their last dance together!
