O’Gorman High School has helped many young adults create a firm foundation for their faith. One student in the class of 2024, Maverick Jones, will be continuing his faith journey into college because of the support that his school has provided for him.
Jones has been persistent in his faith through Campus Ministry throughout his high school career. He explains that he always has had a desire to go into Catholic studies and Campus Ministry assisted in affirming his plan.
He says that the most interesting part about continuing religion is “learning about the philosophical aspect of Religion and the aspects which are never covered throughout previous schooling.” His goal is to use this knowledge to grow in his faith.
Jones is the most excited for this degree because of the relationships that will be formed with people who have the same moral beliefs.
He plans to attend the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota while advancing in his faith through education and relationships.
