This year, senior Nick Gray has decided to pursue a military career. He will be attending the U.S. Military Academy located in West Point, NY. With a rigorous application process and a selective acceptance rate, becoming a student at this academy is extremely impressive.
Within his time in the U.S. Military Academy, Gray is hoping to double major in American Politics and Economics. His choice to attend West Point was made based on patriotism and possibility. “I decided to join because I want to serve in the military in some way and because of the opportunities it may open up for me later in life,” Gray said.
Along with the success that West Point is able to offer him, Gray was motivated by the service of relatives. “My grandpa was in the army and served in Vietnam,” Gray said. “The patriotism he showed really inspired me to join.” With the support of O’Gorman and those close to him, Nick Gray is ready to begin training to serve his country this upcoming school year.
