As the school year kicks off, so does one of the student body’s favorite sports of the year: football season!
The team has been preparing for the season through intense lifting programs, team camps and scrimmages. All summer they have worked very hard in preparation for success.
Although their success last year could be attributed to great leadership, seniors playing this year are ready to step up and understand the importance of their example this year.
“Although the team is young, it is going to be a fun season,” says senior Jack Stuckel. Seniors agree that leadership is a key role in this year’s success all together. Overall they hope to just get better every game, in hopes to win a state championship eventually. Players are ready for the ups and downs of the season and plan to work through all of them together.
“Keys to our success are staying dedicated and playing unselfish,” says senior Dawson Bauer.
The Knights have an away year, so a lot of their games will be traveled to. The football team is excited for the seasons and so are their fans!
